Who We Are / Why We Exist

Who We Are

A global organization with deep Filipino roots

Emotional Reset Center (ERC) is a global mental health and well-being organization based in the United States, with deep partnerships across the Philippines.

We design training ecosystems that make mental health support accessible, ethical, and human — without replacing professionals.

Why We Exist

Because help is often delayed

Because emotional pain is often invisible.

Because help is often delayed.

Because we do not have enough mental health professionals to support.

Because communities deserve trained responders — not just good intentions.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

Four commitments that shape everything we build

💜

Mental health is everyone's responsibility, not everyone's expertise

Everyone can learn to notice and respond well. Diagnosis and treatment stay with professionals.

🧭

Prevention is as vital as intervention

The earliest conversation often does more than the most expensive one later.

🛡️

Care must always come with boundaries

Every method we teach names where a helper's role ends and referral begins.

🎓

Training builds safety, dignity, and hope

Skill turns good intentions into support people can actually trust.

Our Mission / Our Vision

Our mission

To equip individuals, schools, organizations, and communities with practical mental health education, coaching, and support systems that make care an everyday practice.

Our vision

A country where no one carries emotional pain alone, because in every school, office, and barangay there is someone trained, trusted, and near.

Global Roots, Local Impact

Global Roots, Local Impact

International practice, translated for the communities we serve

Our frameworks draw on global evidence in psychological first aid, social-emotional learning, and recovery support — then get rebuilt in Filipino classrooms, barangay halls, and workplaces until they actually fit.

Delivered in English, Filipino, and regional languages

Summits hosted in the Philippines, Indonesia, and online

Materials adapted with local educators, not for them

Community advisory input on every new track

How We Got Here

Milestones

How we got here

Our journey began with a simple realization: emotional pain is often invisible, support is often delayed, and too many communities lack people equipped to respond. Emotional Reset Center was built to help bridge that gap by empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become trusted sources of emotional support in their communities. Today, we continue that mission by training Gabay and partnering with organizations to build a more emotionally resilient Philippines.

What It Really Means To Be a Gabay

A Gabay is not a therapist and not a hotline. It is the trained, trusted person already near enough to notice — and steady enough to respond well.
