A. The Tour: BLOOM Day

Part 1:
Workshop with Parents and Teachers

During this workshop, parents and teachers come together to explore crucial topics related to mental health.

The session begins with an emphasis on suicide prevention, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to identify warning signs and offer support. The workshop then delves into understanding and assessing disorders that impact learning and classroom behavior, fostering a proactive approach to meet the diverse needs of students. Additionally, participants engage in a comprehensive session on trauma-informed coaching, recognizing the importance of creating safe and supportive environments for all students. The workshop also addresses strategies to engage parents in pre-emptive mental health support for their children, emphasizing the value of collaboration between home and school.

Participants engage in discussions and activities addressing essential topics, including building resilience and developing an adversity quotient, understanding the importance of kindness and empathy, and cultivating self-empowerment. Students gain practical tools and strategies to navigate challenges, enhance their social-emotional skills, and promote positive mental health within themselves and their peers.
